December 2, 2008

Hello from the Lazy EL Office! Deb and I are here in the office watching it snow. Deb says hello also. She's wintering here until spring and then will be leaving us for places unknown. Stephanie has found year round employement in Ohio playing with baby horses. I do believe she left here with 3 puppies but they won't let her on the plane with the horses. Jael's been wanting me to update this blog since October. I was suppose to include photos of Buck with his new colt and Ceily in her Cheer Leader outfit. ........ So OK I'm not that talented with computers and digital photos. Some day I'll get them posted, but not today. (Oh shoot....the Boss Lady's going to make me scan them in and post them any way.)

As Far as we know Buck is doing well down at College. He and his friends decided to take a road trip to South Dakota during the Big Snow in October to pick up his 2 year old "rope"horse. We are talking 4 colleage kids in an extended cab. His aussie dog Sadie hitched a ride in the horse trailer by mistake, so now we are talking 4 kids and a dog in the truck cab. They spent their first night out in a post office in some small town in South Dakota, at least they had the smarts to seek shelter from the storm. He's got his yellow horse Scooter down there with him so with 2 horses to keep excerised I guess he's staying out of trouble.........So OK, one can hope.

Ceily decided to try something new this year and went out for the cheer team. Don't be thinking she's gone pansey on us! Cheer and football are the only sports that require brain testing so when they fall on their heads they can determine if their brains are damaged........Hey this is Montana! they got to be able tell some how! Any way with all the saddle lifting and riding they put Ceily right up there for air time. So Ceily and her partner in crime Tara got to climb up to the top of the pyramids. Ceily says falling off the pyramids wasn't any different from falling off a horse and being up top she didn't get stepped on as much........shoes are softer too.
Hey we did get the pictures posted, we're just not sure why they ended up where they did! (Now the Boss Lady will probably make me write a newsletter) Hope you all had a Great Thanksgiving! Be sure to come back and checkout what other trouble I get into in the world of cyber space......there really should be age limits to these things.. Happy Trails -
Denise Phares (Office Manager)
